A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Virginia Beach, VA, serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week within a K-12 public school setting, providing a dynamic and rewarding environment for delivering speech therapy services.
Responsibilities for this role include conducting assessments and evaluations to determine student needs, delivering direct therapy to support communication development, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The therapist will play a key role in helping students meet their communication goals and improving their academic success.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as an SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLP - School license
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to conduct assessments, design effective therapy programs, and maintain accurate documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate in multidisciplinary settings
- Valid licensure to provide speech-language pathology services in Virginia
