A K-12 educational setting in Ventura, CA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek with onsite responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity to support pediatric clients within a diverse school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individual education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state guidelines and school policies.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student success through evidence-based intervention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare or school settings.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to support a diverse student population.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
