Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Are you passionate about making a difference? ProCare Therapy is thrilled to partner with an amazing district to hire a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time, full-school-year position serving students from ages 3 to 22!
In this rewarding role, you'll work with incredible students across a variety of learning environmentsincluding therapeutic day schools, satellite classrooms within public schools, and inclusive settings alongside general education peers. Youll be at the heart of helping students thrive academically, socially, and independently!
Position Highlights:

Full-Time | 2025-2026 School Year

Serve students across ages 3-22

Work in a range of settings: self-contained, public school classrooms, and inclusion programs

Provide consistent, meaningful support throughout the entire school year
Key Responsibilities:

Design creative and effective instructional programs tailored to students with visual impairments

Deliver direct instruction and consultative services
-
Collaborate closely with therapists, paraprofessionals, and district staff
-
Assess student needs and track progress through data-based practices
-
Support life skills, independence, and transition planning
What Were Looking For:

Valid teaching license or certification in Visual Impairment (or related area)

Experience in K-12 settings, preferably in special education
-
Flexibility and passion for working across multiple ages and environments

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A heart for inclusion and student-centered learning
