Job Title: Process Engineering Manager
Location: Wall Township, NJ
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
Overview:
We are seeking a highly technical and hands-on Process Engineering Manager to lead complex engineering projects in a fast-paced manufacturing and product development environment. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on solving technical challenges, driving execution, and leading cross-functional teams on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Ownership & Execution: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
Technical Leadership: Provide on-the-floor guidance, coaching, and troubleshooting support to engineers and technicians.
Data-Driven Problem Solving: Utilize statistical methods, Design of Experiments (DOEs), and engineering principles to evaluate and improve product performance.
Risk Management: Identify and escalate technical risks that could impact quality, reliability, or schedule.
Team Alignment: Maintain strong influence across departments to ensure alignment on priorities and project goals.
Schedule Accountability: Drive adherence to deadlines while balancing technical rigor and urgency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related discipline).
- 7+ years of experience in a technical environment (electronics, materials, or advanced manufacturing preferred).
- Proven ability to lead projects and provide hands-on direction in low-volume, high-mix production settings.
- Strong foundation in applied statistics, experimental design, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of motivating cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects under tight deadlines while maintaining technical excellence.
