Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Registered Radiologic Technologist is needed to produce high-quality diagnostic images using imaging and computer equipment, adhering to department and industry standards. This role requires strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality to prepare and educate patients effectively. The technologist will ensure patient safety and age-appropriate communication while applying radiation safety techniques and infection control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize imaging and computer equipment to obtain diagnostic images meeting quality standards.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, addressing questions and concerns professionally.
  • Employ age-appropriate communication, educate patients, and ensure safety in accordance with growth and development principles.
  • Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Demonstrate expertise in patient positioning, imaging techniques, infection control, and quality assurance.
  • Supervise and train students in patient care and imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and radiologic procedures.
  • Proficiency in radiation safety and infection control.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient education.
  • Experience in supervising or training radiology students is a plus.
