A growing mail order pharmacy in Athens, Ohio seeks a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) to join their team on a part-time or full-time basis. This role is ideal for pharmacists who prefer a verification-focused position with minimal direct patient contact, working within a collaborative mail order environment.
Location: Athens, Ohio
Job Type: Contract (part-time or full-time options available)
Schedule:
- Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all orders meet quality and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Oversee the dispensing workflow specific to a mail order pharmacy setting
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to quality assurance efforts
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support timely and precise order fulfillment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative licensure history
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience working in a mail order pharmacy setting preferred
- Previous prescription verification experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
