Schedule/Hours:

  • Choices: Days (0700-1900), Mids (1100-2300), or Nights (1900-0700)
  • Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend
  • No on-call duty
  • Holiday rotation assigned as needed
  • Schedule provided a month in advance

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with minimum 2 years of recent ER experience; trauma experience encouraged
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Proficiency in IV starts, foley/NG tube insertion, neuro assessment, and triage
  • Comfortable managing codes, pressors, procedural sedation, and critical emergent cases
  • Adaptability and leadership as an ER subject matter expert
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Team-driven, flexible, and skilled in diverse social and clinical settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care in a 31-bed emergency department
  • Manage a 1:4-5 patient ratio for acute and critical cases
  • Support stabilization and transfer processes for complex traumas and pediatric cases
  • Collaborate with a 24/7 multidisciplinary support team
