Health Information Manager
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm On-Site

The Health Information Manager is responsible for the overall management, integrity, security, and accessibility of patient health information across the organization. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, supports quality improvement initiatives, and oversees the effective use of electronic health records (EHR). The Health Information Manager plays a key role in data governance, staff training, and continuous process improvement to support high-quality patient care. This role also manages the medical records specialist.
What is PACE?
PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states.
The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.
You Bring:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Health Administration, or related field required
- 3–5 years of experience in health information management or medical records
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems required
- Experience in healthcare quality, compliance, or data analysis preferred
- RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analystical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and training skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
