Opportunities are available immediately through June 17, 2027, with placements at both elementary and high school levels. There are three Speech-Language Pathologist positions: two full time (7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours weekly) and one part-time (.8 FTE, 4 days per week). All positions are in-person and designed for passionate professionals looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License (SLP).
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification in WA.
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI required.
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA.
- Previous experience working in a school-based SLP role.
- Ability to work with a diverse student population at either elementary or high school level.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable, collaborative, and responsive in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct speech and language therapy to students.
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and legal guidelines.
- Engage with families and educators to support student growth and program effectiveness.
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development activities.
