We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Gather vital signs, height and weight
- Administer injections, vaccinations
- Perform venipuncture, collect specimens with proper labeling
- Assist providers with procedures such as bedside I&D, suturing
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Administrative tasks such as patient registration, insurance gathering, answering phone calls
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in urgent care/clinic setting preferred
- Familiarity with electronic charting/medical records
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
