Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Millwrights for projects located in Sheboygan Falls, WI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $36/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Assemble basic parts or units and attach unit to assembly subassembly or frame using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect test and adjust completed unit to ensure that unit meets specifications tolerances and customer order requirements
- Connect electrical wiring according to basic circuit diagram
- Measure parts to determine tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequence of electromechanical unit
- Read hydraulic pneumatic and electrical schematics and diagrams
- File lap and buff parts to fit using hand tools and power tools
- Attach name plates and marks identifying information on parts
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition Informing supervisor of defective or faulty equipment or materials and unusual conditions
- Maintaining quality standards and following safety rules
Responsibilities
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have basic tools of the trade
- Must be journeyman level with verifiable and applicable experience
- Must have millwright/mechanical experience
