Join our team as a Data Entry Specialist and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and reliability of our data systems. In this position, you will enter and verify detailed client information in the departmental database with precision and timeliness, conduct preliminary research and review business processes or data, and leverage your deep understanding of technology platforms to troubleshoot and resolve issues. What you will do:
- Enter and verify detailed client information in the departmental database in an accurate and timely manner
- Conduct preliminary research and review of business processes or data
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the necessary technology platforms used to troubleshoot and research issues
- Answer and problem-solve incoming telephone, voicemail, email, and occasionally in-person requests professionally and courteously
- Coordinate with other departments regarding the entry and maintenance of account information
- Assist with accuracy checks of team data entry to ensure accuracy levels are met
What you will need to be successful:
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience, education, and/or training
- Ability to read, interpret, and write simple correspondence
- Strong communication skills in both one-on-one and small group settings
- Comfortable working with data, numbers, and performing basic math functions (rates, ratios, percentages)
- Reasoning skills to follow written/oral instructions and solve standard problems
- Proficient in database software, email, internet applications, spreadsheets (including macros), and word processing
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, independent, and calm under pressure
