Position Overview
BizFirst is supporting our client in the search for a CDC Trainer to deliver, develop, and maintain high-impact training content for the client’s Office of Budget Services (OBS). In this role, you will design and deliver customized learning content, facilitate both virtual and in-person instruction, and support user adoption through a full range of training modalities. You will work directly with client stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment, maintain courseware, and help users achieve proficiency with new and updated systems.
Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, automation, and advanced data analytics. Through innovative solutions, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for defense and federal agencies, delivering critical improvements to financial oversight and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver, develop, and schedule training sessions and supporting materials for client
· Develop and deliver customized training content, including:
o Instructor-led (virtual/in person) and recorded training videos
o Instructor guides
o User guides and step-by-step manuals
o Quick-reference documents and visual workflows
· Update previously developed courseware materials to reflect system’s current process, features, and user interfaces
· Produce online self-paced training courses to be formatted and loaded into client learning portal
· Collaborate with the Office of Budget Services (OBS) POCs to align materials and schedule content delivery
· Conduct bimonthly “office hours” session to answer user questions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training or instructional design
- Proven ability to create professional training materials, including videos, user guides, quick-reference sheets, and manuals
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SharePoint required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with functional teams
- Comfortable working remotely with potential travel to client site in Atlanta, GA
