Summary:

The Digital Asset Management (DAM) Librarian maintains a library of digital collections of assets and other materials, and assists groups and individuals, both internal and external in locating, obtaining and using materials. Trains others in the creation or preservation of digital resources and the use of the company's Digital Asset Management system. Interacts with IT and Marketing staff to implement and maintain the DAM’s technical infrastructure.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track, organize and manage Digital Assets for company websites
  • Approve product image details as quality assurance before image transfer to website (direction, color, focus, scale, face of fabric)
  • Validate accuracy of naming convention
  • Coordinate and manage correction process for Asset Errors.
  • Monitor progress on Classification of Products
  • Track and report progress on product launches
  • Coordinate and manage distribution of Product Images for customer usage by following customer-specific procedures
  • Access internal inventory application on AS400
  • Troubleshoot asset access problems on both DAM and company websites
  • Troubleshoot image discrepancies on both DAM and company websites
  • Inventory sample books and other sampling tools while in department’s possession.
  • Update database of digital records for redundancy and accuracy
  • Enter and validate metadata as part of the asset upload process
  • Non-Essential Duties:
  • Provide Administrative assistance to departmental management
  • Assist in prepping product for photography
  • Assist in flat shot table shooting.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • College degree in Business, Marketing, Visual Communications or related field
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Photoshop experience preferred
  • Photography knowledge and experience preferred
  • Extremely organized with relentless attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word required
  • Exceptional organization skills required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks as well as multiple projects
  • Good oral and written communication skills required
  • Intermediate PC experience or greater required
  • Basic math skills a must
  • Knowledge of photography file formats and sizes a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to self-start and self-manage daily responsibilities
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks as well as multiple projects
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
