Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures under the direction of radiologists. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining strict radiation safety standards and delivering exceptional patient care.
Schedule & Call Requirements

Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Rotational weekends and holidays required

Overtime may be required based on departmental needs

On-call coverage: 2–4 days per month
Key Responsibilities

Perform radiographic and interventional imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.

Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging examinations.

Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.

Set proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Practice radiation safety and protection to minimize patient exposure.

Operate imaging equipment efficiently and report equipment malfunctions promptly.

Process imaging studies and enter accurate documentation into the Radiology Information System (RIS) for billing and records.

Follow departmental policies, procedures, and established imaging protocols.

Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support patient care needs.
Required Qualifications

Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Active New York State license/registration required.

Minimum 1 year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist.

Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance.
