Job Description
The CNC Mill Machinist is responsible for executing prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups, and both prototype and established processes. The role involves working with various machine tool controls and ensuring the quality of produced parts.
Responsibilities
- Perform set-ups on proven and prototype parts, conduct tool changes, and make tool offsets.
- Set up equipment to run production or prototype parts according to blueprints.
- Develop new work instructions for prototype parts.
- Troubleshoot processes, programs, equipment, and tooling.
- Engage in shop floor programming and editing of CNC programs to maintain product quality.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2-5+ years of experience in CNC Mill set-up and machining.
- Proficient in blue print reading and understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Experience with various machine tool controls, including G-M Codes and Mazatrol.
- Ability to apply mathematical formulas for calculating product dimensions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Quality assurance and control.
- Experience with calipers and Haas machines.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of CAD software and prototype machining.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
