Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide expert ultrasound imaging services in a fast-paced emergency department setting, delivering critical diagnostic support to ER patients and inpatients. This contract position offers a specialized opportunity to utilize your ultrasound skills across two distinct clinical environments on a flexible weekend and Friday schedule.
Location: Cambridge, MA
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ultrasound imaging procedures in the emergency department and womens health center.
- Deliver accurate and timely diagnostic imaging to support patient care decisions in urgent and inpatient settings.
- Maintain detailed and precise documentation of all imaging studies using EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintain ultrasound equipment in excellent working condition.
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday, 7:00pm to 7:30am at the Emergency Department ultrasound room in Salem.
- Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm at the Womens Health Center in Danvers.
Qualifications:
- Current RDMS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ultrasound technologist.
- Proficient in general ultrasound imaging techniques.
- Ability to work independently with a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:1.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred.
