THE TYPE OF INSURANCE CLAIMS SPECIALIST WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work Comp experience
- 1+ years of customer service and claims experience
- Experience with analyzing claims and making sound decisions
- Knowledge of insurance claims process, medical terminology, and mathematical principles
- Knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Knowledge of general office practices
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Insurance-related courses are a plus!
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR INSURANCE CLAIMS SPECIALIST
In this full-time role, you'll review and set up new medical and lost time claims, determine liability and coverage, and investigate details to make sound decisions. You'll process payments or denials, assist claimants and insureds, and provide exceptional customer service, all while ensuring accuracy and fairness.
