Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available at a school located in Nellis AFB, NV. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students to identify learning, behavior, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic and social challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in school settings.
- Proficient in psychological assessment and intervention techniques.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.
