A K-12 school in Shelbyville, IN, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a contract position spanning the current school year. This onsite role focuses primarily on conducting special education evaluations to support student success across three school buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually to determine eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to address and support diverse student needs
- Report to the district supervisor and actively participate in monthly team meetings
- Ensure compliance with special education laws and guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Indiana license to practice School Psychology is required
- Experience in psychoeducational assessment and eligibility determination is strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of special education law, regulations, and compliance
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Work Details:
