Position Overview:
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of daily operations within the pharmaceutical environment. This position involves coordinating cross-functional activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
· Operational Coordination: Manage, optimize and co-ordinate daily pharmaceutical operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and supply chain requirements.
· Supply Chain Collaboration: Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure timely production and supply of products from manufacturers and delivery of finished products, shipment and release.
Planning: Work closely with manufacturing units to develop and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
· Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Collaborate with the sales team to gather market intelligence and integrate sales forecasts into operational planning, ensuring alignment between demand and supply.
· Compliance Assurance: Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations, including Good Distribution Practices and DSCSA.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to facilitate efficient operations.
· Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
· Alliance management : Working with CMOs and partners for forecasting, production planning, documentation to ensure product availability at all times.
· Project Support: Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures, and support cross-functional projects within the organization.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
· Experience: 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, supply chain management, or a related field.
· Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications: APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification.
· ERP Systems: Experience working with ERP programs.
· Project Management: Strong project management skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
· Pharmaceutical Background: Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
