The Opportunity:

As an RFP Writer, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize education. In this role, you will create and edit proposals in response to RFPs from potential clients.

Job Type:Part-Time, Contractor - Potential to go full-time


What Youll Do:


End-to-End Proposal Development: Lead the full lifecycle of K12 RFP responses to which you are assigned, with autonomy to structure, write, and package bids before manager review.


Balance Precision and Persuasion: Translate dense product, program, and policy data into clear, compelling narratives that adhere to state and district scoring criteria, with a focus on accelerating win rates.


Operate with Speed and Systems: Deliver error-free first drafts, maintain complete HubSpot hygiene, accurate trackers, and a searchable library of reusable assets.


Collaborate, Then Take the Lead: Work cross-functionally to gather inputs, butown structural decisions, narrative cohesion, and final QA, including forms, attachments, portal uploads, and submission logistics.


Bring Deep K12 Insight: Leverage your understanding of RFPs, curriculum adoptions, MTSS frameworks, Science of Reading laws, and funding streams (ESSER, Title I, etc.) to localize proposals and elevate credibility.


What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in writing RFPs or similar proposals in the K-12 space
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with the education industry and tutoring services is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Google products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
