A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide critical care in a dynamic hospital setting specializing in adult trauma and surgical recovery. This contract role focuses on adult trauma patients, post-surgical management for general and vascular surgeries, as well as neuro surgery support.
The unit is an 8-bed Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center equipped to handle complex cases with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients recovering from traumatic injuries and major surgeries, ensuring patient safety and supporting optimal recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and provide comprehensive nursing care for adult trauma patients.
- Manage post-operative care for patients undergoing general, vascular, and neuro surgeries.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
- Perform timely assessments, administer medications, and document patient progress.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license with ICU clinical experience.
- Strong knowledge of trauma and post-surgical nursing care.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Experience with patient ratios between 1:1 and 1:3 preferred.
