Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy services in accordance with CMS, DEA, and state board regulations specific to long-term care (LTC)
- Manage medication distribution processes, including cycle fills, eMAR systems, and medication carts
- Utilize LTC pharmacy systems such as PrimeCare, DocuTrack, TCGRx, and Parata to support efficient workflows
- Collaborate effectively with consultant pharmacists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain compliance and uphold high standards of pharmacy practice and patient safety
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelors degree or PharmD in Pharmacy
- Active Texas Registered Pharmacist license
- Proven experience in LTC or closed-door pharmacy environments
- In-depth understanding of LTC regulations and pharmacy workflows
- Familiarity with LTC pharmacy technology and systems
- Strong communication and leadership abilities for effective team coordination
