Schedule

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Shifts: 4x10s
  • Start times: 0600, 0630, 0700
  • Examples: 0600–1630, 0630–1700, 0700–1730
• Call: Minimal
  • 1 weeknight on-call
  • 1 weekend per month

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years Endoscopy/GI Lab experience
  • MUST have ERCP experience
• Skills Required:
  • Strong IV skills
  • Admit/Discharge
  • Banding, EGD, ERCP, Dilations
  • Phase II recovery (propofol sedation)
  • Prior EPIC experience
• Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
• License:
  • Current WA State RN license (okay to submit while pending)
• Education: BSN not required

• Patient Volume: 15–18 patients/day
• Staffing Model:
  • 1 Admit RN
  • 1 Recovery RN
  • 1 Procedure RN
• Common Cases: Colonoscopies, EGDs
• Techs/Aides: Yes
• RT Equipment: None (no vents, CPAP, BiPAP)
• Charge Nurse/Manager: On site
• Floating: None
• Scrubs: Provided

Orientation

• 12 hours minimum
• Department-specific
• Length adjusted based on traveler comfort
