A travel opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist ready to support diverse student populations within various educational settings in Springfield, MA. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students, collaborating with educators and families, and helping to promote positive academic and behavioral outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform intervention strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention tailored to student needs.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student challenges.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Experience in conducting psychological evaluations in school settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and psychological assessment tools.
