Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives by serving as a School Psychologist in a supportive contract-based opportunity. Working with elementary and middle school students in the region near Annandale and Howard Lake, this position provides flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling, depending on your preference.
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited School Psychologist program
- Valid state-issued School Psychologist credential
- Experience with elementary and/or middle school student populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of assessment protocols, intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for special education services
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct support and counseling for students individually or in groups
- Consult with educators and families to support academic and social-emotional well-being
- Implement data-driven interventions and document progress
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school policies and legal requirements
- Serve as a resource on behavioral management and mental health needs
