Volt is immediately hiring for General Clerk in Costa Mesa, CA.
As a General Clerk you will:
- Types, completes, and files a variety of departmental documents including letters, forms, shipping and receiving records, purchasing requisitions, and departmental activity reports.
- Responds to questions concerning departmental and company policies and procedures and the proper completion of office forms.
- Operates standard office equipment with speed and accuracy such as computer, calculators, photocopiers and facsimile equipment.
- Assists with shipping to outlying offices and outside customers.
- Adds, prints, and maintains work orders.
- Prepares documents for outside services.
- Requests office supplies as needed.
- Answers and transfers telephone calls, takes messages, and interacts with customers.
- Coordinates pattern movement per customer request.
- Completes special clerical and office support projects as needed.
- Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position; and
- Fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations.
This is a full-time, Contract opportunity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience involving general clerical and office support functions, including data entry, typing, and receptionist work; and equivalent to high school graduation.
Pay Range: $19 - $25/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
