Key Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of direct patient care during open-heart and other cardiovascular surgeries.
- Scrub and circulate in CVOR procedures as needed.
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain and ensure proper setup and sterility of the surgical environment.
- Monitor patient status, document appropriately, and advocate for patient safety throughout procedures.
