Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool

Location: Falmouth, MA

Job Type: 13-Week Travel Contract

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Shift: Nights | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts

Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Travel Pay: $2,200 - $2,681/week (DOE)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Float Pool assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry, cardiac medication, IV therapy, and acute care experience with the flexibility to float between facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License.

• BLS Certification required.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience.

• Previous Travel Nursing experience required.

• IV Therapy experience required.

• Must be able to perform own Phlebotomy.

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac medication administration.

• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients.

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac patients.

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and cardiac medications.

• Care for post-operative, orthopedic, and medical-surgical patients.

• Respond to emergency and urgent patient situations.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans.

• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
