Job DescriptionIMKO is looking for an Administrative Assistant for a small office located in Columbia, MO. Good attendance is expected and punctuality is required. Reliable transportation is a must.Shift: Monday- Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. Pay: $15.10/hour
Responsibilities:

  • Answering and directing inbound calls from customers and clients
  • Taking ride reservations
  • Delivering messages while using basic office equipment
  • Performs a range of basic office support activities
  • Distributes correspondence and other material to correct staff
  • May perform specialized services in an administrative nature in strict accordance with established procedural guidelines, as appropriate to the position

Skills:

  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
  • Must be proficient in Computers with the ability to easily learn new software
  • Must be able to keep information confidential
  • Proficient in drafting correspondence and creating/printing labels
  • Be able to operate office equipment such as copiers, scanners, printers, etc.
  • Ability to operate a multiline phone system/ take multiple calls at the same time
  • Organized with the ability to multitask
  • Be proficient in Excel

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of office experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus
  • Customer service oriented
  • Works well under pressure
  • Preferred background in transportation services
