The Event Planner will oversee the coordination and execution of a variety of client and internal events, including:
- Managing client office visits for TV, radio, and VIP guests
- Planning and executing internal training events (30–60 attendees; approximately six per year)
- Tracking and reconciling event expenses while maintaining accurate records
- Building and managing event registrations and workflows in Cvent
- Providing general event support as needed
The ideal candidate is professional, highly communicative, and thrives in a collaborative environment. They are self-driven, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and proactively engage team members to meet deadlines.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field, or at least three years of relevant experience
- Proven experience as a lead planner managing air, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and food & beverage
- Cvent Registration Certification or a minimum of two years’ hands-on experience with Cvent, including session builds and reporting (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience in event planning, budgeting, and logistics
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required
- Polished professional presence with the ability to confidently interact with clients
