A specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract opportunity in Grand Rapids, MN. This role offers a blend of retail pharmacy work alongside long-term care responsibilities, providing a diverse and engaging daily routine. The position requires a licensed pharmacist who is certified in immunizations and CPR, with a background as a PharmD or MTM certified professional preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and dispense medications in both retail and long-term care settings
- Provide comprehensive medication therapy management services
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Counsel patients on proper medication usage and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts as scheduled
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota pharmacist license
- Immunization Certification and CPR Certification
- PharmD degree or MTM certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail and long-term care pharmacy practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Possible rotating weekends required
