Work Location: In person

Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:

• Completion of an approved professional nursing education program.

• Experience of at least three years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in nursing is required to teach in practical/vocational nursing programs.

• A current active unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Ohio.

• Previous teaching experience preferred.

• Excellent teaching and classroom management skills

• Functional abilities to carry out classroom, clinical and laboratory teaching responsibilities

• Competent in personal computer applications: word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email.

Position Summary:

Nursing faculty are professionals with the education and practice skills to prepare the next generation of nurses. Faculty is accountable to the Dean of Nursing for the implementation of the approved curriculum based on the mission and philosophy of the nursing program and the College.

Job Type: Contract

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7am-7:30pm
