Be the Talent Engine Behind Our Purpose. Clover Sonoma is on a mission to nourish families while championing sustainability, animal welfare, and community. As a purpose-driven, Certified B Corporation®, and California’s leading dairy brand, we’re not just producing milk — we’re building a better future, paving the way for conscious businesses by demonstrating care for all stakeholders and moving the world forward. To power our growth and purpose, we’re looking for a high-impact, hands-on Recruiter to lead talent acquisition for our bottling plant and distribution operations.
If you're an energetic, creative, and relentless recruiting pro who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to build exceptional hourly teams that deliver excellence — we want to meet you!
Pay Rate: $75.00 per hour (contract-to-perm)
What You’ll Own
As the go-to talent partner for our Operations and People & Culture team, you'll own full-cycle recruitment for high-volume hourly roles, both union and non-union. From the plant floor to delivery routes, you’ll shape the workforce that fuels our brand. Key roles include: production operators, maintenance technicians, forklift drivers, supervisors, warehouse staff, and Class A route drivers.
You’ll partner closely with Operations and People & Culture leadership to anticipate workforce needs, drive proactive hiring, and bring in talent that aligns with our values and commitment to quality.
What Success Looks Like
-
Lead full-cycle recruiting for key roles across our manufacturing and distribution teams, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
-
Build a high-performing talent pipeline through grassroots outreach, digital sourcing, job fairs, community partnerships, and creative local recruiting strategies.
-
Champion a best-in-class candidate experience that reflects Clover’s brand, values, and purpose.
-
Partner cross-functionally with plant managers, hiring teams and the People & Culture team to streamline hiring while supporting strong employee onboarding.
-
Maintain meticulous recruiting processes and data collection to ensure accuracy, compliance, and actionable insights that support hiring performance and decision-making.
-
Use data to drive decisions – report on key hiring metrics, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness to continually improve hiring performance.
-
Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, EEO standards, and union agreements.
-
Serve as a Clover talent brand ambassador at local hiring events, workforce development programs, and community partnerships.
What You Bring
-
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-volume, hourly environments (CPG, manufacturing, food production, distribution/logistics preferred).
-
Demonstrated success hiring for unionized roles and navigating labor contract requirements.
-
Strong strategic sourcing abilities and grassroots recruiting creativity.
-
Ability to juggle multiple reqs with urgency while maintaining an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
-
A collaborative and persuasive communication style — you build trust across all levels, from the production floor to the leadership table.
-
Hands-on familiarity with ATS platforms (Ashby, Greenhouse, ADP) AI tools and HR compliance standards.
-
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred but not required.
-
A true bias for action, accountability, and results — you own your work and inspire others to do the same.
