Job Title: Regional Nurse Consultant (RN) Skilled Nursing Facilities


Location: Indiana (Primary Coverage)
Travel: Regional travel to 57 facilities

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant (RN) to support clinical operations across a group of Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) in Indiana. This leadership role partners closely with facility Directors of Nursing and administrators to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical outcomes.

The Regional Nurse Consultant will oversee 57 facilities, providing clinical guidance, mentorship, and operational support to nursing teams while helping drive best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide clinical oversight and support to Directors of Nursing and nursing leadership teams.

  • Monitor and improve clinical quality indicators, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance.

  • Assist facilities with state survey preparation, plan of correction development, and follow-up implementation.

  • Review clinical systems including infection control, wound care, falls prevention, and quality assurance programs.

  • Analyze clinical data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide education, coaching, and leadership development to nursing staff and facility leaders.

  • Support implementation of company clinical initiatives and policies.

  • Collaborate with corporate leadership and facility teams to ensure consistent clinical standards.

  • Assist facilities during surveys and regulatory reviews as needed.

Qualifications


  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active Indiana license.

  • 3+ years of experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care.

  • Prior experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or Regional Nurse Consultant preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and SNF clinical operations.

  • Ability to analyze clinical data and implement performance improvement plans.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

  • Ability to travel regularly to assigned facilities.
