Brand Mule is a growing marketing agency based in Lebanon, OH, and we are looking for our first full-time Strategic Marketing Professional to bring on with our Husband/Wife duo team.


PLEASE NOTE: This is a Hybrid Remote position. We are ONLY seeking candidates who currently live within driving distance of the Dayton/Cincinnati, Ohio area. While this is (up-to) 50% remote/work-from-home role, you will be required to attend in-person meetings (at our office) and possibly assist on local commercial video/photo shoots.


Your Role Will Be Two-Fold:

  • Client Fulfillment: You will be a key player in managing and fulfilling client work, primarily in web and app development projects, but not limited to these skills exclusively.
  • Internal Marketing: You will be responsible for managing Brand Mule's own marketing efforts—developing and executing strategies for content marketing, email marketing, and SEO to drive our continued growth.

You'll be working directly with the owners to build and execute strategies for both clients and our own brand. Together, we will see amazing dreams become reality!


Responsibilities:

  • Manage client web/app development projects from kickoff to launch.
  • Develop and execute Brand Mule's internal lead-generation strategy.
  • Meet with owners weekly to set clear "Weekly Wins" (goals) for the following week.
  • Achieve all weekly goals by the given deadline to unlock your weekly performance bonus.
  • Use time-tracking tools to help us analyze project profitability (this is a business tool, not a micromanagement tool).
  • Represent Brand Mule professionally in occasional in-person client meetings.

Experience & Skills (Required):

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing role.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio of work we can review. This must include links to websites, case studies on campaigns, or examples of your lead-gen success.
  • WordPress: High proficiency with WordPress (managing, building, or updating) and domain migration/management.
  • Technical: Strong understanding of how to set up and use Python, API, and automation tools.
  • Local SEO: Proven experience improving Local SEO rankings (managing Google Business Profiles, Map Packs, citations, etc.).
  • Paid Ads: Hands-on experience managing Paid Ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads).
  • Analytics: Comfortable using Google Analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • AI: Extensive use of marketing AI tools for content creation and cutting-edge optimization (AIO).
  • Location: Must be a current resident of Southwest Ohio (Dayton/Cincinnati metro area).


Nice-to-Have Skills (A Plus):

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Commercial Print Experience: This is a non-essential skill, but we are planning to bring all commercial printing in-house in 2026. An understanding of this world would be considered a plus, though direct involvement may not be required.

Pay Structure

This is a performance-based role. Your total earning potential is composed of a guaranteed base salary plus significant weekly and quarterly bonuses.

  • Guaranteed Base Salary: $44,200 / year (paid weekly at $850)
  • Weekly Performance Bonus: Up to $10,400 / year (paid weekly at $200)
  • Quarterly Performance Bonuses: Up to $12,000 / year

This structure is designed to directly reward your consistency and contribution to company growth. We are looking for a team member who is excited by this "buy-in" model.
