A critical care nursing opportunity is available for experienced registered nurses ready to provide diverse patient care across multiple hospital units. This role requires a minimum of three years of comprehensive experience in emergency room (ER), intensive care unit (ICU), progressive care unit (PCU), medical-surgical (Med Surg), and behavioral health/psychiatric settings, including adult acute, youth acute, and addiction recovery. Nurses in this position function as vital members of a hospital-wide float nursing resource team, supporting a range of service lines with adaptable and efficient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care while floating among the ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health units.
- Apply nursing knowledge to evaluate, plan, implement, and document care for various patient populations.
- Assist physicians during exams and procedures, perform tests, and administer medications within RN scope of practice.
- Promote patient independence through education related to conditions, medications, and self-care.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated and respectful care.
- Maintain high adaptability to meet the demands of multiple care settings and a broad patient demographic.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN highly preferred.
- At least 3 years of recent experience in ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health/Psych units.
- Skilled in cardiac drips and non-invasive ventilation.
- Current RN license in Idaho or a compact state.
- Certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale. Restraint and MOAB training completed during onboarding.
- Ability and willingness to float across different nursing units as required.
