Temporary Accounting Assistant
Location: Central Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Monday – Friday (No weekends)
Duration: 90 days (with potential to extend or convert to temp-to-hire)
Pay Rate: $16 per hour
Work Environment: 100% onsite
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with billing functions and general accounting tasks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is comfortable working under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Perform research and resolve discrepancies or issues in billing records
- Process adjustments and updates to customer accounts as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and files related to financial transactions
- Utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to track and analyze data
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external contacts
- Report to work on time and meet daily productivity expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, billing, or administrative finance support preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
