Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required (must not be CRT)
  • Current Ohio RCP license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
  • Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and networked healthcare applications preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prescribed respiratory therapy services in compliance with provider orders
  • Operate necessary medical equipment and document patient information in EMRs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adhere to safety standards and maintain infection control practices
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, with ability to stand, bend, or move intermittently throughout the day
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
