Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

A full-time School Psychologist is needed to provide comprehensive psychological services within a K-12 public school setting. This position requires strong skills in assessments, individual and group interventions, and collaboration with educators and families to promote student success. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is essential to effectively support a district in southern Chester County.

Location: Reading, PA
Duration: School Year Contract
Hours: 37.5 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct up to 8 psychological evaluations per month, including cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments
  • Provide counseling and interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement support plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Utilize bilingual Spanish skills to effectively communicate with students, families, and staff in the designated district
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and district standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
