We’re seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant – Financial Operations & Reporting to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment. This role will work closely with the CFO and play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing project budgets, and delivering insights that support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities in QuickBooks Pro, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Coordinate with outsourced accounting partners to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance
• Lead month-end close and manage payroll processing across multiple geographies
• Track budgets and burn rates for grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with funder requirements
• Support the CFO with financial reporting, dashboards, and analysis for leadership
• Maintain the annual budget and rolling forecasts, updating projections as business conditions change
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and communicate financial trends to management
• Improve financial processes and systems across QuickBooks, Bill.com, and related tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Pro and core accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, close)
• Solid understanding of GAAP and maintaining audit-ready financial records
• Experience with project or contract accounting and budget tracking
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial models, dashboards)
• Familiarity with Bill.com or similar payment platforms preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Clear communicator who can translate financial data into actionable insights
• Experience in health tech, digital health, or SaaS environments is a plus
