PURPOSE:

We are looking for a dedicated Laborer Helper to join our residential framing crew. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in constructing the framework of residential buildings, including single-family homes, townhouses, and multi-family units. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the construction industry.

• Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, and other materials.
• Help assemble and install framing components such as walls, floors, and roofs.
• Carry and transport materials and tools to and from the worksite.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
• Follow safety regulations and company standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform basic construction tasks as directed by the lead carpenter or supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
