This company makes gas and oil turbine engine parts for some of the most recognizable companies in the industry. They're located right in Milwaukee, OR and they've been in business for over 80 years.
As part of the Manufacturing Associate team, you'd complete all steps in the preparation, creation and inspection of the ceramic cores used within their molds. It's a temporary-to-hire job that offers a full benefits package upon permanent hire, quarterly bonuses, and career growth opportunities.
Manufacturing Associate Job Duties:
- Manage powders and raw materials, including weighing at batching stations and blending in mixers
- Operate heated mixers and granulators to transform materials into liquid and then into granulated form
- Execute machine operation tasks such as running presses, loading hoppers, and crushing cores.
- Fabricate ceramic cores using low-pressure injection molding techniques
- Clean and repair cores using tools like files and slurry mixtures to fill imperfections
- Load and unload trays of cores onto carts and into drying furnaces.
- Assist with chemical room processes, including phenolic resin baths, alcohol washes, and monthly cleanouts.
Schedules:
- Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 4:00am-4:30pm
Manufacturing Associate Requirements:
- Ability to wear PPE: steel toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb
- Proficient reading and following verbal or written instructions
- Basic math skills and comprehension
Pay: $28.66/hour
