Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification with appropriate endorsements—applicants must meet requirements specific to the assigned caseload (see endorsement categories below).
- Prior experience supporting students with Autism in a school setting is essential.
- Must complete district-required background check and fingerprinting promptly.
- Flexibility to accept campus assignment and caseload once determined.
Endorsement Categories Include (based on assignment):
- Early Childhood Special Ed (Grades P3-2)
- Special Education Generalist (Affective Needs, Autism, Cross Categorical, Functional Academics, Severe Needs/Life Skills)
- Specific endorsements for Educationally Handicapped, Physically Handicapped, Severe Needs, or Cognitive needs, as applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt specialized lesson plans in accordance with students’ individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Foster inclusive, accessible classroom environments for a diverse population of learners.
- Collaborate closely with school teams, families, and related service providers to support student growth.
- Participate in campus and district professional development as new classrooms are established.
- Maintain ongoing communication regarding student progress and goals.
