Job Title: Welder
Job Description
This role focuses on performing high-quality welding and metal fabrication in a manufacturing and production environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Interpret and work from blueprints and fabrication drawings to complete welding and assembly tasks accurately.
- Support general manufacturing and production activities as needed to meet daily and weekly output goals.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during welding, grinding, and fabrication tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Handle and move materials and parts, including lifting items up to 50 lbs, to support production flow.
Essential Skills
- Manufacturing or production experience in a metal fabrication or similar industrial environment.
- Proficiency with MIG welding processes.
- Experience with TIG welding.
- Metal grinding experience for weld preparation and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and related equipment in a production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a high-volume production or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with structural steel fabrication processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a production team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Allentown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
