We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist who excels in customer service and can efficiently handle administrative tasks. This role involves interacting face-to-face with customers who have experienced significant losses, providing empathetic and sincere support while managing essential paperwork and office duties.
Responsibilities
- Process total loss paperwork, including titles.
- Distribute payment checks to customers.
- Order and organize police reports.
- Mail letters to customers.
- Manage FedEx shipments, including sending and receiving packages.
- Scan and file total loss paperwork electronically.
- Maintain office supplies and needs, including ordering coffee and other essentials.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in customer service, particularly face-to-face interactions.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with empathy and sincerity.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, and Word.
- Capability to adapt quickly to new processes and programs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in administrative support.
- Familiarity with data entry tasks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Work Environment
This position operates within a 100% office-based environment, requiring direct interaction with customers. The role involves using standard office technology and software. The work environment encourages professionalism and empathy, with a focus on supporting individuals who have experienced significant personal losses.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shreveport, LA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
