Job Description

Bastion is a dynamic, growing force in modern marketing—built to position brands and businesses for lasting strength. We are seeking a knowledgeable, data-driven Digital Specialist with hands-on experience in Google Ads, Meta Ads, Programmatic Display Advertising, and web analytics to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ideating, executing, and managing digital and paid media strategies across multiple channels and clients.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Advertising Strategy & Execution

  • Plan, implement, and optimize multi-channel digital advertising campaigns.
  • Execute campaign creation, audience building, ad trafficking, and conversion tracking.
  • Monitor accounts daily to track budget and performance.
  • Conduct regular data-driven optimizations to improve conversions and KPI efficiency.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to enhance campaign targeting.
  • Identify audience segments to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Launch and manage campaigns across:

Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)

Meta Ads

Programmatic Display Networks


Data & Performance Analysis

  • Utilize Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to measure performance and insights.
  • Create and present clear, actionable client-facing and internal reports (weekly/monthly).
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations to optimize campaigns and media spend.
  • Comfortable using Excel to export, manipulate, and analyze performance data.
  • Execute A/B testing and other optimization methodologies.


Website & SEO Optimization

  • Audit website content and flow to improve user experience, conversion rate, and SEO performance.
  • Recommend and implement on-site improvements based on web analytics and traffic behavior.
  • Collaborate with content, creative, and development teams to align website goals with campaign strategies.


Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with social, creative and account teams to align programs and deliver the best quality work on time and within budget.
  • Partner with creative and content teams to provide data-backed guidance for ad development and messaging.
  • Stay informed on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Proactively suggest workflow and process improvements.
  • Provide insight to creative and account teams for optimization of ad creative
  • Contribute to the development of ad creative, landing pages, and sales funnels.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated success managing and optimizing digital campaigns with measurable results.
  • Ability to launch, optimize and manage:

Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)

Meta Ads

Programmatic Ads

  • Knowledge of:

Google Analytics (GA4)

Google Tag Manager

Google Search Console

SEMrush

  • Experience with CMS platforms such as Shopify and WordPress.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfortable using Excel to export data and analyze performance metrics.
  • Ability to interpret data to understand performance and guide decisions.
  • Familiarity with basic HTML is preferred.
  • Design skills are a plus.
  • Self-starter with critical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Results driven; not afraid to dig in deep to find the best solutions and analysis
  • Curious and proactive — always seeking ways to learn and improve.


COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $55,000-60,000.
