<h3>Job Description</h3>
We’re actively hiring a Construction Estimator to join a growing commercial construction team in the Chicago area. 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Review architectural drawings, specifications, scopes, and project documents to develop accurate estimates</li>
<li>Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment</li>
<li>Solicit, review, and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure complete and competitive bids</li>
<li>Prepare proposal packages, bid summaries, and supporting documentation</li>
<li>Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction to identify risks, value engineering options, and cost-saving opportunities</li>
<li>Assist in developing budgets, schedules, and bid strategies for upcoming projects</li>
<li>Maintain updated cost databases and historical pricing records</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience as a Construction Estimator in commercial construction</li>
<li>Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and technical documents</li>
<li>Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment</li>
