Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Contribute expertise as a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II in a dynamic catheterization lab setting. This role is integral to the patient care team, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of high-quality cardiac imaging and interventions. The technologist promotes patient- and family-centered care principles, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet the individualized needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to support precise and safe cardiac assessments.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols throughout procedures.
- Provide clear communication and compassionate support to patients and their families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- At least 1 year of experience in a travel technologist role preferred.
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required.
- Proven ability to function effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
Schedule:
- Choose between (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts per week.
- Availability for weeknight, weekend, and holiday call is required; however, no weekend or holiday shifts will be scheduled.
- Over the course of a 13-week contract, expect 1-3 weeknight shifts total and potentially 1 weekend call (not guaranteed).
